Support for Municipalities in Co-financing Multi-Generational Houses

This program from the Free State of Bavaria is aimed at financially weak cities, municipalities, and districts, as well as municipalities facing particular demographic challenges. The goal is to enable these municipalities to secure the necessary co-financing for multi-generational houses participating in the "Federal Program Multi-Generational House: Together - For One Another."

The program supports municipalities in covering their additional financial burden arising from the mandatory co-financing of multi-generational houses within the "Federal Program Multi-Generational House: Together - For One Another." This is financial support to secure the operating costs of these social institutions.

Support is provided as a fixed annual grant. This is intended to help municipalities cover their required own contribution to the co-financing of multi-generational houses, thus ensuring participation in the federal program.

To avail of the funding, certain prerequisites regarding participation in the federal program, municipal financial capacity, and self-contribution must be met. Regulations concerning cooperation among several municipalities and data usage must also be observed.

Applications for funding must be submitted on time to the Zentrum Bayern Familie und Soziales (ZBFS). Approval follows a review of the prerequisites and disbursement of the grant upon submission of the proof of use.

The funding program is based on a specific guideline from the Bavarian State Ministry for Family, Labor and Social Affairs, which regulates its implementation and the administration of budgetary funds.
