The "Berlin Digital Bonus" is awarded as a non-repayable grant, covering up to 50 percent of the eligible expenditures. The maximum funding per project is EUR 17,000, with a minimum funding amount of EUR 1,000.

Conditions and Requirements

Applicants must meet various conditions, including the prohibition of early commencement of measures, compliance with the De Minimis rule, and specific quality requirements for service providers.

Application Procedure

Application and approval for the "Berlin Digital Bonus" are carried out entirely electronically via the IBB Business GmbH application portal on a first-come, first-served basis. Applicants must submit specific documents and provide a brief project description and a financing plan.

The "Berlin Digital Bonus" funding program is based on the guideline of May 9, 2022, and is embedded within the legal framework of the Berlin State Budget Code and European State Aid Law. Implementation is carried out under the leadership of IBB Business Team GmbH.
