Grants for Family Holiday Trips

This funding program is aimed at low-income families and those in special stress situations who have their residence or permanent stay in the state of Brandenburg. It aims to enable them to access family holiday trips and thus strengthen family cohesion and well-being.

The program subsidizes family holiday trips to suitable facilities and accommodations that serve family recreation. Certain types of accommodation are eligible for funding, while others are explicitly excluded to ensure that funds are used for their intended purpose.

Financial support is provided in the form of a grant, the amount of which is determined by the number of overnight stays and accompanying family members. The program provides for fixed-sum financing and is designed to promote family holiday trips.

To be eligible, applicants must adhere to certain income limits or provide proof of receipt of certain social benefits. In addition, formal requirements for the application and the trip itself must be met.

Applications for grants for family holiday trips must be submitted to the State Office for Social Affairs and Supply (LASV) in Cottbus. A complete application with booking confirmation must be submitted in good time before the start of the trip to enable approval.

The "Grants for Family Holiday Trips" are based on a specific guideline from the Ministry for Social Affairs, Health, Integration and Consumer Protection of the State of Brandenburg and are subject to the general budgetary regulations of the state.
