Special Program: BTG Digitalization 5.0

The BTG Digitalization 5.0 Special Program is aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and start-ups with their registered office or a permanent establishment in Hamburg. The goal is to support them in financing digitalization projects that serve to renew and/or improve their IT structures.

The program promotes a variety of investments in the field of digitalization. These include, among others, software development, the redesign of corporate websites, the acquisition of hardware, and the further training of employees in the IT sector.

Funding is provided in the form of a typical silent partnership, with a maximum amount of EUR 250,000 per project. The amount of the participation is also limited to capital parity.

The program sets certain prerequisites for eligibility. Restructuring cases and companies in difficulty are explicitly excluded from funding. No De-Minimis regulations or consortia need to be observed.
