Funding Guideline Vocational Training – Wirtschaft integriert

This funding program supports legal entities under public and private law that are active in vocational training in Hesse. The goal is to successfully integrate individuals interested in training with specific language support needs into company-based vocational training and accompany them until they complete their professional qualification.

The 'Wirtschaft integriert' program promotes comprehensive concepts that include a funding chain consisting of various phases: career orientation, entry-level qualification, and training support. Throughout these phases, job-related language support, learning assistance, integration support, and socio-pedagogical guidance are consistently integrated.

Funding is granted as a non-repayable subsidy, the amount of which is determined by standard unit cost rates per staff position and participant per month. Program coordination can be subsidized with up to 90 percent of the total expenses.

Specific legal and administrative conditions apply to the funding, including the requirement for a written application before project start, compliance with cooperation regulations, and consideration of budgetary provisions. The program itself is not classified as state aid within the meaning of EU law.

The application process requires the written submission of a detailed concept to the Wirtschafts- und Infrastrukturbank Hessen (WIBank).

The 'Wirtschaft integriert' program is based on the Guideline of the State of Hesse for the Promotion of Vocational Education and is supplemented by various state and federal laws as well as other relevant regulations.
