What is Funded
The program promotes investments in facilities for the generation of electricity and/or heat from renewable energies. This includes photovoltaic systems (rooftop, floating, agri-photovoltaic), wind energy, hydropower, solar thermal, and geothermal systems. Eligible costs include not only the systems themselves but also planning, project development, and construction costs, as well as necessary infrastructure.
Type and Scope of Funding
Funding is provided in the form of interest-subsidized loans, which can cover up to 100% of the eligible investment costs, up to a maximum of 10 million Euros per company per year. The loans offer various term options with flexible repayment periods and fixed interest rates.
Conditions and Requirements
Applicants must meet certain economic and state aid requirements, including compliance with the De minimis regulation and the provisions of the General Block Exemption Regulation (GBER). Specific exclusion criteria also apply to companies and projects.
Application Procedure
Applications for the loan program are processed through the house bank procedure. Interested companies submit their funding application to their house bank, which forwards it to the L-Bank after review. The necessary forms and information are available through the house banks or the L-Bank website.
