Funding for Measures to Increase Energy Efficiency and the Use of Renewable Energies in Businesses (De minimis) – Saxony-Anhalt ENERGY

This funding program is aimed at small, medium-sized, and large companies based in Saxony-Anhalt that wish to implement investment measures to increase energy efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The goal is to support companies in their efficiency efforts and contribute to climate protection.

Funding is provided for investment measures that lead to increased energy efficiency and reduced greenhouse gas emissions. This includes both building-related and non-building-related measures, which can also be combined with the use of renewable energies. There are clear definitions of which costs are eligible for funding and which are excluded.

Funding is provided as a non-repayable grant, the amount of which depends on the company's size. There are minimum limits for eligible expenses. Projects can have a duration of up to 18 months.

Various prerequisites and provisions must be observed for funding, including the project location in Saxony-Anhalt, proof of an energy audit or energy management system, and compliance with the De minimis Regulation. There are also specific requirements for accounting and transparency.

The application must be submitted via the customer portal of Investitionsbank Sachsen-Anhalt before the start of the project. Approval is at the discretion of the authority and based on selection criteria. The disbursement of the grant takes place after the completion of the project and successful verification of the proofs.

The funding program is based on the Guideline on the Granting of Subsidies for Measures to Increase Energy Efficiency and the Use of Renewable Energies in Enterprises on the Basis of the De minimis Regulation. It is underpinned by a series of EU regulations and national budgetary legal provisions.
