SMK-ESF Plus Guideline Educational Potential Lifelong Learning – D – Projects for Children with Special Learning and Life Difficulties
This program by the Free State of Saxony, co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+), enables childcare facilities to hire additional specialists to support children with special learning and life difficulties. The funding guideline is valid until the end of 2030, and approved projects can be extended within this period.

Application Procedure
Applications must be submitted by specified deadlines via the SAB funding portal. Project selection is made after the publication of a funding announcement. The process includes advance payments for projects exceeding 10,000 Euros and requires the submission of proof of use, typically within two months after project end.
