Funding for Non-Investment Social Measures for Associations and Federations Supporting People with (Impending) Disabilities

This funding program is aimed at non-profit state, district, and local associations and federations in the Free State of Thuringia. The goal is to financially support their statutory tasks for the care and promotion of people with (impending) disabilities and to ensure the quality of their executive bodies.

The program supports non-investment social measures by associations and federations that serve the care of people with (impending) disabilities. The focus is on the necessary material expenses of the executive bodies of the organizations.

The program provides non-repayable grants as project funding, with a funding rate of up to 80 percent of eligible expenses. The financing is provided as co-financing.

Certain conditions must be met for funding, including proof of other funding sources if other grant providers are involved, and adherence to requirements for budget management and expenditure verification. There is no legal entitlement to funding, as the decision is made at the discretion of the ministry.

The application for funding must be submitted in writing and legally signed by October 31 of the year preceding the start of funding to the Thuringian Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs, Health, Women, and Family. Several important documents must be attached to the application.

The funding is based on a specific guideline for the promotion of non-investment social measures, supplemented by provisions of the Thuringian State Budget Code. These legal bases define the purpose and conditions of the grants.
