Conditions and Requirements

The approval of grants is at the discretion of the approving authority within the framework of available budgetary funds. Essential conditions include staffing, coordination with municipal guardianship authorities, and the utilization of other income sources.

Application Procedure

Applications for basic funding must be submitted annually to the competent guardianship authority by September 30 of the preceding year. Different deadlines apply for additional funding, with applications to be submitted directly to the Oldenburg Higher Regional Court.

The funding program is based on the Guideline on the Granting of Subsidies for the Promotion of Guardianship Associations issued by the Lower Saxony Ministry of Justice and is anchored in several relevant laws and administrative regulations.
