Funding is provided as a grant within the framework of project funding with fixed-amount financing. The amount of the grant varies depending on the type of institution and the type of personnel, with a self-contribution of at least 10% of the eligible expenses to be provided by the operator. The approval periods are generally calendar-year based.
Conditions and Requirements
Specific conditions apply to the funding regarding the equipment and operation of the facilities, staff qualifications, cooperation with other stakeholders, and financial participation from municipalities. These measures ensure the quality and sustainability of the assistance services.
Application Procedure
The application for funding must be submitted using specific forms to the Government of Middle Franconia by December 1st of the year preceding the approval period. Initial applications and significant changes require the approval of the Bavarian State Ministry for Family, Labour and Social Affairs. Proof and audits are carried out by the approving authority.
Legal Basis
The funding program is based on the directive of the Bavarian State Ministry for Family, Labour and Social Affairs from February 24, 2022, and is in accordance with the budgetary provisions of the Free State of Bavaria as well as the objectives of the Istanbul Convention.
