Funding Guideline Vocational Training – Apprenticeships for Secondary School Leavers

This program targets companies and organizations in Hesse that want to create apprenticeships for young people who have left school with at most a lower secondary school leaving certificate (Hauptschulabschluss). The funding aims to integrate this target group into the labor market and enable them to pursue qualified vocational training.

The funding program supports the creation of apprenticeships in Hesse for specific target groups. Funding is provided for recognized vocational training occupations, with grants covering the apprenticeship remuneration. Certain additional benefits of the apprenticeship remuneration are excluded.

The program offers financial support in the form of non-repayable grants to cover part of the apprenticeship remuneration. The amount of funding varies depending on the year of training.

Specific conditions must be met for application and receipt of funding, including adherence to deadlines, qualifications of the apprentices, and certain exclusion criteria. General legal and state aid provisions also apply.
