Funding for Inter-company Vocational Training Centers (ÜBS)

This funding program targets providers of inter-company vocational training centers in Hesse and aims to modernize and further develop the training landscape. Both public and private legal entities that are not profit-oriented are supported. The primary geographical focus is Hesse, with certain exceptions for locations outside the state.

The funding program supports investments in the infrastructure of inter-company vocational training centers as well as model projects for the development of competence centers. Application requires early notification and is submitted electronically. Special conditions exist for learning location cooperation and proof of economic efficiency. The program is subject to strict state aid regulations, although the funding of the inter-company vocational training centers themselves is not classified as state aid. Furthermore, comprehensive transparency and documentation obligations must be observed.

This funding program is based on the Hessian ERDF Funding Guideline 21+ and is legitimized by European and national laws and regulations. The guideline sets out the specific funding provisions and ensures that the grants provided comply with applicable state aid rules.
