Funding Guideline Vocational Education – Inter-company Training Courses
The State of Hesse promotes inter-company training courses (ÜAL) and other measures that improve the quality of initial vocational training and adapt it to the high technical specialization of companies. The aim is to optimally prepare trainees, especially from small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and young people from Hesse for the demands of the modern working world and to support the securing of skilled labor.
Who is funded
This funding guideline of the State of Hesse primarily supports organizations and institutions that offer inter-company training courses and qualifying measures for trainees in Hesse. The aim is to improve the quality of initial training and adapt it to specialized operational requirements, as well as to prepare for the working world 4.0. The geographical coverage is limited to Hesse.
What is funded
The guideline supports various measures to increase training quality and vocational orientation. These include specific inter-company training courses (ÜAL) at various levels and other qualifying offers tailored to the needs of the Hessian training market. Both direct course costs and flat rates for accommodation are considered.
Type and Scope of Funding
Funding is provided in the form of non-repayable grants, the amount of which depends on the type of measure and the course level. Both percentage shares of eligible costs and flat rates for dormitory-style accommodation are granted.
Conditions and Requirements
Specific conditions apply to the granting of subsidies regarding application procedures, cooperation with third parties, and compliance with state aid regulations. Furthermore, minimum funding amounts must be observed, and transparency in cost changes is required.
Application Procedure
Applications for funding must be submitted in writing to WIBank and before the start of the project. The decision on approval lies with the discretion of the competent authority.
Legal Basis
The funding program is based on the guideline of the State of Hesse for the promotion of vocational education. Additional legal bases, such as the Vocational Training Act and the Crafts Code, are also consulted.
