Homeownership in Rural Areas (RL WLR) Open
The "Homeownership in Rural Areas (RL WLR)" program of the Free State of Saxony supports private individuals in creating, extending, or renovating self-occupied residential property outside the largest cities. It offers loans to promote the acquisition and preservation of homes in rural Saxony, thereby sustainably improving living conditions.

The guideline supports a range of measures related to self-occupied residential property, from new construction to acquisition and conversion, as well as renovation and extension. This ensures broad support for various housing projects in rural areas.
Type and Scope of Funding
Funding is provided in the form of a public loan from Sächsische Aufbaubank (SAB). The loan amount varies depending on the project and can be up to 80,000 Euros, with a maximum term of 25 years.
