Hop on Facility
The Hop on Facility is an initiative under Horizon Europe designed to enhance the inclusiveness of research and innovation projects by integrating legal entities from low R&I performing countries. It enables these 'Widening countries' participants to join already selected collaborative R&I actions under Horizon Europe Pillar 2 and EIC Pathfinder, provided the existing consortium does not already include such a partner. The program aims to boost R&I capacities, foster knowledge circulation, and increase the visibility of research institutions in Widening countries.
Who is Funded
The Hop on Facility targets legal entities from 'Widening countries' across the European Union and associated nations to strengthen their participation in leading research and innovation projects. The primary objective is to enhance research excellence, foster knowledge exchange, and increase the global visibility of these regions within the European Research Area.
