Participation Principles of IBG Beteiligungsgesellschaft Sachsen-Anhalt mbH – Silent Partnerships (No Aid)

The "Silent Partnerships" program by IBG is aimed at small and medium-sized technology-oriented companies in Saxony-Anhalt. It aims to strengthen their equity base and secure long-term growth, especially during start-up, research, development, and growth phases.

IBG offers silent partnerships for technology-oriented companies implementing research and development work, adaptive developments up to market launch, as well as market entry and growth financing.

Funding is provided in the form of a silent partnership, which can amount to up to €5 million. The term is up to 10 years with an option for extension. Fixed and profit-dependent fees, as well as charges, apply.

Eligible SMEs must submit a qualified business plan, maintain a business establishment in Saxony-Anhalt, and carry out projects with new technologies or their own research and development that create competitive advantages.

Applications for a silent partnership must be submitted in writing using the forms provided by IBG. It is important to note that even if all requirements are met, there is no legal entitlement to funding.

The funding program is based on the participation principles of IBG Beteiligungsgesellschaft Sachsen-Anhalt mbH for silent partnerships. These guidelines, in their latest version, regulate the prerequisites and conditions of the participations and are adapted to the EU guidelines for state aid to promote risk financing.
