IB.SH Real Estate Efficiency House

The IB.SH Immo Efficiency House program is aimed at private individuals in Schleswig-Holstein who plan the new construction or purchase of an owner-occupied property and wish to comply with minimum energy standards. The goal is to support the acquisition of residential property with a focus on energy efficiency, thereby contributing to climate protection.

The program supports new construction, the purchase of existing properties, and the purchase with subsequent modernization, provided strict energy efficiency standards are met. Projects that contribute to reducing energy consumption are funded. Holiday homes and secondary residences are excluded.

Funding is provided in the form of a loan, which can cover up to 40 percent of the total costs. The maximum loan amount is 150,000 euros, but can be increased to up to 200,000 euros under certain conditions. The interest rate is fixed for 15 years.

Applicants must provide an own contribution of at least 7.5 percent of the total costs. The loan is secured by a land charge. Combinability with other public funding is generally possible, but there are exclusions for certain KfW and IB.SH programs.

Applications for the IB.SH Immo Efficiency House must be submitted directly to Investitionsbank Schleswig-Holstein (IB.SH).
