Inter-company Training in the Agricultural Sector Open
The State of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern supports inter-company training measures in the agricultural sector for accredited educational institutions. With the help of the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+), educational institutions receive grants for courses and the accommodation of trainees. This aims to improve access to lifelong learning and strengthen vocational education and training.
Who is funded
The program aims to support educational institutions that offer inter-company training measures in the agricultural sector in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Target groups are trainees in private companies with residence or training companies in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The funding aims to improve access to lifelong learning and increase the labor market relevance of vocational education.
What is funded
The program funds inter-company training courses in specific agricultural professions, as well as associated costs for trainee accommodation. Eligible expenses include course costs based on fixed rates and a flat rate for overnight stays. The funding aims to improve vocational education in the agricultural sector.
Type and Scope of Funding
Funding is provided as a non-repayable grant within the framework of project funding with fixed-amount financing. The grant covers up to 70 percent of the eligible expenses for courses and a flat-rate accommodation allowance. The funding is limited to a maximum of three courses per trainee and extends over the entire vocational training period.

To receive funding, educational institutions must meet specific criteria, including aligning measures with trainees in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and utilizing recognized training facilities. Clear rules apply to course content, the use of IT systems, and compliance with publicity obligations according to EU regulations. Extensive audit rights by various institutions must also be observed.
