Who is funded?

The Master Craftsperson Start-up Premium is aimed at qualified master craftspersons who intend to start a business, take over a company, or actively participate in a craft business in Schleswig-Holstein. The goal is to strengthen the skilled trades and to secure and create jobs and training positions in the region.

What is funded?

The Master Craftsperson Start-up Premium supports both the initial business start-up and the takeover or active participation in a craft business. Additionally, the creation of new jobs or training positions is funded.

Type and Scope of Funding

The funding is provided as a non-repayable grant in two stages: a basic funding for the establishment and an additional funding for the creation of jobs or training positions, with fixed amounts per funding stage.

Conditions and Requirements

To be eligible for funding, applicants must not have started the project before the application is approved and must obtain an expert opinion from the Chamber of Crafts beforehand. The funding is linked to the creation and occupation of qualified jobs or training positions and is subject to De minimis regulations.

Application Procedure

The application must be submitted to the Investitionsbank Schleswig-Holstein (IB.SH). Prior consultation with the responsible Chamber of Crafts, which also provides an expert opinion, is mandatory. Disbursement takes place after review and approval.

The Master Craftsperson Start-up Premium is based on a specific guideline from the Ministry of Economics, Transport, Labor, Technology and Tourism of the State of Schleswig-Holstein. It is granted in conjunction with the State Budget Code and the EU De minimis Regulation.
