Master Craftsperson Start-up Premium
The Master Craftsperson Start-up Premium of the State of Schleswig-Holstein supports master craftspersons in their first business start-up, takeover, or active participation in a craft business. They receive a grant intended to promote the securing and creation of jobs and training positions in the skilled trades.

The Master Craftsperson Start-up Premium supports both the initial business start-up and the takeover or active participation in a craft business. Additionally, the creation of new jobs or training positions is funded.
Type and Scope of Funding
The funding is provided as a non-repayable grant in two stages: a basic funding for the establishment and an additional funding for the creation of jobs or training positions, with fixed amounts per funding stage.
Conditions and Requirements
To be eligible for funding, applicants must not have started the project before the application is approved and must obtain an expert opinion from the Chamber of Crafts beforehand. The funding is linked to the creation and occupation of qualified jobs or training positions and is subject to De minimis regulations.
Application Procedure
The application must be submitted to the Investitionsbank Schleswig-Holstein (IB.SH). Prior consultation with the responsible Chamber of Crafts, which also provides an expert opinion, is mandatory. Disbursement takes place after review and approval.
Legal Basis
The Master Craftsperson Start-up Premium is based on a specific guideline from the Ministry of Economics, Transport, Labor, Technology and Tourism of the State of Schleswig-Holstein. It is granted in conjunction with the State Budget Code and the EU De minimis Regulation.
