This also includes innovative digital narrative forms such as 360-degree films and virtual reality applications. Projects that violate the constitution or laws, as well as industrial, advertising, or image films, are not funded.

Type and Scope of Funding

Funding is generally provided as a loan or grant, with the amount and type of support depending on the specific funding measure. The specific funding rates and maximum amounts vary by area, for example, up to €1,000,000 for productions or €150,000 for script development for fictional films and series.

Conditions and Requirements

Various conditions must be met for funding, including compliance with cultural and economic funding objectives, proof of overall financing, and consideration of aid regulations such as the GBER and the De minimis regulation. Projects generally may not have started before applying.

Application Process
