Integration of Migrants

Type and Extent of Funding
Funding is provided as a non-repayable grant in the form of project funding. The grant can cover up to 80 percent of the eligible expenses, with a minimum co-financing of 20 percent required.
Conditions and Requirements
Applicants must be non-profit organizations with a registered office in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and must carry out projects with qualified specialist personnel. A co-financing of at least 20 percent of the eligible expenses is required. Project selection is based on criteria such as cooperation, target group approach, and municipal co-financing.
Application Procedure
Applications must be submitted in writing by October 31 of the previous year to the State Office for Health and Social Affairs Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, along with a financing plan and a confirmation of need. The approving authority decides within the framework of available budget funds.
Legal Basis
The basis of the funding program is the "Guideline on the Granting of Subsidies for Project Funding for the Integration of Migrants in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern". It was issued by the Ministry of Social Affairs, Integration and Equality and regulates the funding of integration and participation projects for migrants.
