"REGIO AKTIV" - Specific Model Projects

The "REGIO AKTIV" program is aimed at legal entities under public and private law, companies, educational institutions, and recognized providers of independent youth welfare in Saxony-Anhalt. The goal is to increase the employability of disadvantaged individuals in the labor market and improve the transition of young people into vocational training.

Within the framework of "REGIO AKTIV", model projects that distinguish themselves from standard funding through special approaches are supported. The projects aim to increase the employability of disadvantaged individuals and improve the transition from school to vocational training. Necessary personnel and material expenses are funded.

Funding is provided as project funding in the form of a non-repayable grant. The amount of the grant depends on the eligible expenses. The project duration is generally 36 months, with an option for extension.

Funding is tied to various conditions, including the establishment of a Regional Working Group (RAK) and compliance with state aid regulations. Additionally, specific rules for cooperation, personnel deployment, and budgeting must be observed.

The application procedure is generally two-stage. First, projects are selected by the Regional Working Group (RAK) within a competitive process. After successful selection, a formal application is submitted to the granting authority. For some funding areas, there are exceptions with direct application.
