There are basic funding rates that can be increased by various surcharges, as well as special regulations for research institutions and projects with a Seal of Excellence.

Application Process

The application process is flexibly designed and generally allows for the submission of project outlines and applications at any time. Decisions are made at the discretion of the authority, and competitive calls for specific topics may be published.

The funding guideline is based on the guideline of the Saxon State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Labor and Transport for the funding of technology promotion projects, co-financed by the ERDF and JTF. It is also subject to the EU General Block Exemption Regulation and other EU regulations.
