Digitalization Grant ERDF – Transformation Projects

This program is aimed at commercially active small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and members of liberal professions with a registered office or operating facility in Saxony. It aims to strengthen the innovative capacity and competitiveness of the Saxon economy through digital transformation.

The Funding Guideline Digitalization Grant ERDF 2021 to 2027 supports complex digital transformation projects in SMEs as well as initial digitalization projects for micro-enterprises. Funding is provided for investments in IT security, digital business processes, hardware and software, and training measures.

The program offers grants for digitalization projects with a maximum duration of twelve months. Funding is provided as co-financing, with the amount of the grant and the maximum eligible expenses varying depending on the company size.

Specific conditions apply to the application and implementation of digitalization projects. These include the exclusion of personal and economic entanglements and compliance with the De minimis Regulation. The funding is awarded at the discretion of the granting authority.

The application for the Digitalization Grant ERDF – Transformation Projects must be submitted electronically via the SAB funding portal before the start of the measure. A proof of use must be provided after the project ends.

The funding is based on the Funding Guideline Digitalization Grant ERDF 2021 to 2027 of the Saxon State Ministry for Economy, Labor and Transport, supplemented by state and EU legal provisions.
