State Program for Work – B2/a Vocational Preparation and Training Support – Coaching at Vocational Schools and Regional Vocational Training Centers (RBZ)

The State Program for Work – B2/a supports educational providers in Schleswig-Holstein that offer socio-educational coaching measures for students at vocational schools and Regional Vocational Training Centers (RBZ). The goal is to assist young people in their transition from school to work and to increase the attractiveness of dual vocational training. Funding is geographically limited to all districts and district-free cities in Schleswig-Holstein.

Funding focuses on socio-educational coaching measures for students in the transition phase from school to work. This includes a wide range of support content from career orientation to apprenticeship search and is provided as a grant for personnel, material, and overhead costs.

The program offers a non-repayable grant as partial financing with a maximum amount limit. The exact funding amount depends on regional budgets. A co-financing contribution of at least 2% of the total eligible expenditures is required. The funding is divided into several sections, with each phase requiring a separate call for proposals.

Participation in the program is subject to specific requirements for applicants and project implementation, particularly concerning the qualification of educational providers, the supervision ratio, and compliance with EU-wide cross-cutting principles. Reporting obligations and communication requirements must also be observed.

The application process is handled by Investitionsbank Schleswig-Holstein (IB.SH) and is multi-stage, including a call for proposals, application submission, and a selection process by a jury. Approval is granted after an evaluation of the project concept, suitability of the provider, and project financing.
