Starthaus Coaching Program (BRUT)

Who is funded?

The Starthaus Coaching Program is aimed at professionally qualified founders with innovative, technology-oriented, or knowledge-based business ideas in the state of Bremen. The goal is to provide support in the startup preparation phase up to the seed phase, to enable a successful full-time existence.

Innovative, technology-oriented, or knowledge-based service and product ideas based on the founders' professional expertise are funded. The focus is on developing the business concept and preparing for company formation through a structured coaching program and milestone-based grants.

The Starthaus Coaching Program offers fixed-sum financing in the form of a non-repayable grant, which is linked to a comprehensive, 12-month coaching program. The maximum grant amount is EUR 8,500 and is tied to the successful completion of four defined milestones.

Participation in the Starthaus Coaching Program is subject to specific requirements concerning the founding phase, the nature of the business idea, and the commitment of the applicants. A firm intention to found a company in Bremen, as well as the not-yet-advanced stage of entrepreneurial activity, are crucial.

The application process for the Starthaus Coaching Program is organized in a three-stage process, which includes a short application, a personal selection interview, and the submission of a full application. Application deadlines are set semi-annually.

The coaching program is based on a specific funding guideline of the State of Bremen and is granted by the Senator for Economy, Labor and Europe of the State of Bremen. It is subject to the applicable budgetary regulations and the Bremen Administrative Procedure Act.
