Funding under the State Youth Promotion Plan (RL-LJFP) Closed
The Thuringian State Youth Promotion Plan (RL-LJFP) offers independent youth welfare providers the opportunity to receive grants for measures in youth education and youth work. The program promotes a needs-based service structure, diversity of providers, and the participation of young people in Thuringia to ensure comprehensive and high-quality youth welfare.
Who is funded?
The Thuringian State Youth Promotion Plan (RL-LJFP) is aimed at independent youth welfare providers in Thuringia. It aims to support the provision of needs-based services in youth welfare, promote the diversity of providers and services, and strengthen the participation of young people in youth work and youth association work. The funded measures must generally have a supra-local character.
What is funded?
The program supports a variety of measures in youth work and youth association work. This includes, in particular, out-of-school youth education, cultural youth work, children's and youth recreation, and international youth work. In addition, structure-preserving activities and association-specific educational processes are funded.
Type and Scope of Funding
Funding is provided as a non-repayable grant within the framework of project funding, with the amount of the grant depending on the type of measure and the number of participants. Full financing is excluded, and specific daily flat rates and maximum amounts apply.
Conditions and Requirements
Funding is tied to various prerequisites, including compliance with the State Youth Promotion Plan, the supra-local nature of the measure, and adherence to specific guidelines regarding qualified personnel and remuneration. Additionally, detailed budget and staffing plans are required for certain offices.
Application Procedure
The application procedure varies depending on the funding item, with most applications to be submitted by November 30 of the preceding year or no later than eight weeks before the start of the measure. Approval and disbursement take place after a fundamental funding decision by the Thuringian Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, primarily through GFAW.
Legal Basis
The funding is based on the Guideline on the Granting of Subsidies to Independent Youth Welfare Providers within the framework of the State Youth Promotion Plan (RL-LJFP) as well as other state and federal legal provisions in the field of child and youth welfare.
