The aim is to enable a humane and dignified return to the home country or the state obligated to receive them and to increase the number of voluntary departures.

The funding targets individuals whose competent immigration authority is located in Schleswig-Holstein and enables return to any state obligated to receive them, including other EU member states.

Objective

The guideline pursues the primary objective of strengthening voluntary departure as the preferred form of terminating residence and increasing the number and proportion of voluntary departures. Furthermore, it aims to enable a humane return in dignity and reduce public social burdens.
