Who is funded?

The WALDFÖPR program offers grants in the form of project funding, which can be structured either as flat-rate financing or co-financing. The funding amount varies depending on the measure and is subject to certain upper limits per area or quantity, as well as specific annual limits per applicant.

Conditions and Requirements

The funding is subject to specific forestry, legal, and administrative conditions. These include the necessity of the measures, compliance with nature conservation regulations, the exclusion of certain materials, and adherence to aid regulations.

Application Procedure

The application procedure for WALDFÖPR grants is carried out in writing or electronically before the start of the measure at the competent Office for Food, Agriculture and Forestry. Approval depends on available budget funds, and disbursement occurs after completion and acceptance of the measure.

Legal Basis

The WALDFÖPR program is based on a specific guideline from the Bavarian State Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Forestry, which is supported by EU state aid regulations and national laws such as the Bavarian Forest Act and the Bavarian Budget Code.
