Youth for Development Cooperation Open
The State of Brandenburg supports young people residing in Brandenburg, as well as their foreign partners, during study and work stays in non-European developing countries or return encounters in Brandenburg. The aim is to promote intercultural exchange and engagement in global affairs. Grants are provided for projects lasting 3 to 12 weeks.

Funding is provided as a grant, which serves to partially finance travel, preparation, and follow-up costs. The amount of the grants is standardized and depends on the travel zones as well as the costs of the preparatory and follow-up measures. There is no legal entitlement to the funding.
