Further training for volunteer staff in youth work is also eligible for funding.

Who is Funded

The program aims to support youth education and exchange projects that strengthen young people's personality development and social competence building. The funding is directed at recognized independent youth welfare organizations that primarily operate in Brandenburg and carry out projects for young people aged 6 to 27.

What is Funded

The program supports diverse projects in the field of non-formal youth education and youth exchange. Consciously designed and structured offerings that serve the personality development of young people are funded, as well as further training for volunteer staff in youth work. Certain cost categories are eligible, while others are excluded.

Funding is provided in the form of grants, the amount of which depends on the type of project and the number of participants. Various types of financing are possible, including fixed-sum and percentage-based funding.

Conditions and Requirements

For application and project implementation, certain conditions must be met, including timely submission of applications, specific participant numbers, insurance certificates, and the submission of a pedagogical concept for first-time applicants. For certain project types, an own contribution is required.
