Coaching BONUS

The "Coaching BONUS" program targets small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as well as start-ups with a registered office or permanent establishment in Berlin. The goal is to sustainably strengthen the competitiveness of these companies through targeted business coaching measures and to generate positive effects on income and employment in Berlin.

The "Coaching BONUS" program supports targeted business consulting services in specific sectors and for clearly defined project phases. The focus is on qualification and "help for self-help" to master entrepreneurial challenges. Standard business activities or the creation of expert reports are not funded.

The "Coaching BONUS" program offers project-related partial financing in the form of a non-repayable grant. The funding amount varies depending on the company's age and is limited to a maximum number of coaching days, both per project and per company.

Specific legal and administrative requirements apply for utilizing the Coaching BONUS. These include compliance with the de minimis regulation, the selection of qualified coaches, and the securing of project financing.

The application procedure for the Coaching BONUS is digital and takes place via IBB Business Team GmbH. After a formal review and an interview, a decision on eligibility for funding is made. Disbursement takes place after successful project documentation and verification of appropriate use.

The legal basis for the "Coaching BONUS" program consists of the guidelines of the State of Berlin, which are based on the State Budget Code (LHO), the GRW Coordination Framework, and EU aid regulations. These documents define the purpose, funding conditions, and administrative requirements of the program.
