Type and Scope of Funding

The program offers a grant to cover training costs in healthcare professions. The funding is provided as fixed-amount financing, covering 100 percent of the monthly tuition fee as of December 31, 2017. The exact amount of the grant per training institution depends on the number of occupied training places. The program is calendar year-based and runs until the end of 2026.

Conditions and Requirements

To receive funding, applicants must meet various requirements. These include ensuring the reimbursement of tuition fees, adhering to certain tuition fee limits, and submitting suitable documents. Funding is subject to the discretionary power of the granting authority and the availability of budgetary funds.

Application Procedure

The application procedure takes place annually at the competent district governments. Applications must be submitted by fixed deadlines, and changes and applications for further courses can also be reported by specific dates. The granting authorities decide on the grant at their discretion.

Legal Basis

The funding is based on the Funding Guideline for Healthcare Professions of the Ministry of Labor, Health and Social Affairs. This guideline defines the conditions and scope of the grants and is supplemented by the State Budget Ordinance and administrative regulations.
