Funding for Vocational Preparation of Disadvantaged Youth within Youth Employment Assistance

The program targets educational institutions in Hamburg specializing in supporting young people and young adults with special support needs in their transition to vocational training and employment. To claim the funding, educational institutions must fulfill a series of conditions, including reporting obligations, the submission of a statement of expenditure, and compliance with data protection and administrative law provisions.

The application procedure takes place annually by February 1st. Educational institutions must submit a meaningful concept and a detailed cost calculation. The selection of funding applications is based on an economic efficiency analysis that evaluates the quality-price ratio of the submitted offers.

The funding program is legally enshrined in a specific guideline issued by the Authority for Schools and Vocational Training, which sets out the exact conditions and objectives of the funding. In addition, general administrative law provisions and relevant sections of the Social Code apply.
