The "IBB WEG-Financing" is provided as an interest-subsidized loan that can cover up to 100% of the financing needs. In addition, repayment grants may be provided when utilizing KfW products.

Conditions and Requirements

Specific conditions apply to "IBB WEG-Financing" regarding collateral, cooperation within the WEG, and the type of eligible projects. Customary banking collateral must be provided, although for owner-occupied residential property, a mortgage registration can be waived for loan amounts up to 50,000 euros. The program excludes the financing of projects that have already begun or been completed.

Application Procedure

The application for "IBB WEG-Financing" must be submitted to Investitionsbank Berlin before the start of the planned measures. Loan approval is based on a creditworthiness and property review, with the WEG administration playing a central role in coordinating and accompanying the application. Disbursements are made exclusively to the common account of the WEG.

The "IBB WEG-Financing" is based on a specific product guideline that sets the framework for funding measures on common property in Berlin. In addition, the technical minimum requirements of the KfW Banking Group apply.
