Investments for Youth Welfare Facilities (FRL Investments) Open

The funding program "Investments for Youth Welfare Facilities" of the Free State of Saxony supports recognized and, in justified individual cases, also unrecognized providers of independent youth welfare, as well as local public youth welfare providers, and towns and municipalities within districts in Saxony. The aim is to enable necessary investments in youth welfare facilities that serve the provision of services.

This program funds investment measures in youth welfare facilities in Saxony, particularly constructional and equipment measures that are necessary for the provision of youth welfare services. Investments in day-care facilities for children are excluded.

Funding is provided as a grant within the framework of project funding as partial financing. The amount of the grant can be up to 70 percent of the eligible expenses.
Conditions and Requirements
Specific legal and financial conditions must be met for funding, including proof of ownership or contractual obligations, own contributions, and, depending on the type of facility, statements from planning authorities or umbrella organizations.
Application Procedure
The application procedure is form-bound and must be submitted to the Kommunaler Sozialverband Sachsen by November 30 of the preceding year. Comprehensive documentation is required, including a socio-pedagogical concept and financing plans.
Legal Basis
The legal basis for the funding program "Investments for Youth Welfare Facilities" is the directive of the Saxon State Ministry for Social Affairs and Consumer Protection. This is based on the Eighth Book of the Social Code (SGB VIII) and other budgetary provisions of the Free State of Saxony.
