Natural Climate Protection in Municipal Areas
The Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUV) supports municipalities and special-purpose associations in rural areas that aim to improve the state of ecosystems and make a lasting contribution to climate protection. The program supports investment measures that synergistically combine climate protection, biodiversity, and the attractiveness of rural areas. It offers financially weaker municipalities an increased funding rate to implement important environmental projects.
