Application Process

The application for funding must be submitted in writing and electronically by September 30 of a year for the following year to the competent ministry. Approval is granted at dutiful discretion, and disbursement occurs according to a payment plan. The use of funds must be demonstrated by financial and factual reports.

The funding program is based on the "Guideline for the Promotion of Measures for Free Offender Aid and Victim Protection 2022 to 2026", which was issued by the Ministry of Justice, Europe and Consumer Protection and the Ministry of Interior, Rural Areas, Integration and Equality. The Resocialization Act Schleswig-Holstein and budgetary provisions apply in addition.
