Funding for Civil Protection Units in Saxony-Anhalt (Funding Guideline Civil Protection – ZuwendR KatS)

This program is aimed at private organizations, districts, and independent cities in Saxony-Anhalt that are active in civil protection. The goal is to support the comprehensive development of civil protection units.

The program supports the procurement of specific vehicles and their professionally required initial equipment for civil protection in Saxony-Anhalt. No replacement procurement for already existing loads or equipment will be funded.

The funding is provided as a non-repayable grant within the framework of project funding. The grant can amount to up to 80 percent of the eligible expenses, with a minimum funding of 5,000 euros per individual case being a prerequisite.

Specific conditions apply to the funding regarding the application procedure, the nature of the items to be funded, and acceptance. A minimum funding amount per application is also foreseen.

The application for funding must be submitted to the Saxony-Anhalt State Administrative Office before the start of the project. Private organizations must submit their application through the responsible district or independent city, which examines the necessity and expediency.

The funding is based on the "Guideline on the Granting of Subsidies for the Promotion of Civil Protection Units in the State of Saxony-Anhalt (Funding Guideline Civil Protection – ZuwendR KatS)" and other budgetary and civil protection-related regulations of the State of Saxony-Anhalt.
