Guidelines for Grants for the Deutschlandticket Public Transport NRW 2024

This funding program is aimed at public transport authorities and transport companies in public passenger transport (ÖPNV) and local rail passenger transport (SPNV) in North Rhine-Westphalia. Applicants must meet certain conditions to receive funding, including participation in the nationwide revenue sharing of the Deutschlandticket and providing the required data. It must be ensured that no overcompensation occurs and that double funding is excluded.

The application procedure involves submitting the application to the responsible district government by September 30, 2024. Specific forecasts and documents must be attached. Approval is granted at the discretion of the authority within the limits of available budget funds.

The funding is based on the guidelines for granting subsidies to compensate for uncovered expenses in public passenger transport in connection with the Deutschlandticket in 2024 in North Rhine-Westphalia.
