The DTCF provides capital as equity financing, working as a co-investor with private funders. The funding is limited to a maximum of EUR 30 million per company and is part of a total investment volume of EUR 1 billion by the end of 2030.

For financing through the DeepTech & Climate Fund (DTCF), applicant DeepTech companies must have high market leadership potential. Additionally, certain requirements must be met by co-investing private capital providers, particularly regarding a long-term investment horizon and a focus on sustainable growth.
