LVR Employment Budget – Inclusion Action

The LVR Employment Budget – Inclusion Action targets employers and people with disabilities within the administrative area of the Landschaftsverband Rheinland (LVR) in North Rhine-Westphalia. The goal is integration into employment and training relationships subject to social security contributions in the general labor market.

The program promotes the transition of people with disabilities into employment and training relationships subject to social security contributions. This includes wage subsidies, premiums for employment and training, and flexible budget services for establishing or stabilizing employment or training relationships.

The LVR Employment Budget – Inclusion Action offers financial support in the form of grants and premiums. The amount of funding varies depending on the type of measure and individual needs, with wage subsidies being granted proportionally and premiums as a lump sum.

To receive funding, applicants and the employment relationships to be integrated must meet specific criteria, including compliance with legal provisions such as the minimum wage and observance of the subsidiarity principle compared to other services. There is also a right of return to the workshop for people with disabilities.

Applications are submitted through the specialized counseling of local integration services or directly to the LVR Inclusion Office. The needs assessment usually takes place within the framework of an overall plan procedure and includes expert statements.

The LVR Employment Budget – Inclusion Action is legitimized by a specific guideline of the Landschaftsverband Rheinland. It is based on the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, as well as national laws such as the Federal Participation Act and Social Code IX, which newly regulate the participation of people with disabilities in working life.
