Grants for the Integration of Migrants

The State of Saxony-Anhalt supports legal entities under public and private law, as well as companies in Saxony-Anhalt, that are committed to the integration of migrants, refugee aid, and intercultural openness. The goal is to strengthen migration work and promote an inclusive society in the region.

Funding covers projects and measures focusing on the integration of migrants, refugee aid, and intercultural openness. This includes both direct support services and structural measures for intercultural competence development.

The program offers financial support in the form of a non-repayable grant as project funding within the framework of co-financing. The amount of funding is limited, with a required own contribution from the recipients.

Various conditions and requirements must be met for funding, ranging from the eligibility of applicants to project implementation and compliance with state aid regulations. Intercultural competence, willingness to network, and project inclusivity are particularly important.

The application procedure requires early submission of a special form to the Saxony-Anhalt State Administrative Office. The funding decision is made at the discretion of the authority after review and coordination.

The funding program is based on the Integration Funding Guideline of the State of Saxony-Anhalt and other relevant state budget and grant regulations, which form its legal framework.
