Company Training for Employees

This funding program is aimed at private law companies in Rhineland-Palatinate that wish to adapt their employees' skills to current labor market requirements through further training measures, thereby securing their need for skilled workers. The goal is to maintain employability and increase qualification levels, especially in the context of digitalization and transformation.

Specific company training measures for employees that serve to improve professional, methodological, and social skills and do not last longer than 120 hours are funded. The funding covers external and internal training courses provided by external providers.

Funding is provided as a grant and covers up to 60% of eligible costs in the Trier region and 50% in the other regions of Rhineland-Palatinate, with a maximum amount of 1,500 Euros per person and 30,000 Euros per company per calendar year.

To receive funding, private law companies must have their registered office in Rhineland-Palatinate and exclusively choose accredited training providers. The measures must improve professional, methodological, and social skills and must not include certain costs. Compliance with the GBER and the principle of economic efficiency are important.

Application and cost reimbursement are done electronically via the EurekaRLP Plus IT support system, with the application to be submitted at least one month before the start of the measure, and a postal submission of the signed application documents is required.

The funding program is based on the "Framework Conditions for the Funding Approach 'Company Training for Employees' of the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) in Rhineland-Palatinate for the 2021–2027 Funding Period" and is supported by several EU regulations and state budget laws.
