Various documentation and transparency obligations apply, and projects may generally only begin after the application has been submitted.

The application process requires submission via the Investitionsbank Sachsen-Anhalt customer portal before the project begins. Applications are reviewed for eligibility and merit, with funding decisions communicated through official grant notices. Disbursements are made in tranches after proof of completed training modules.
