Funding for Youth Work, Youth Associations, Youth Social Work, and Educational Child and Youth Protection

This guideline addresses recognized associations, clubs, and other private and public youth welfare organizations in Saxony-Anhalt that operate statewide. The main objective is to promote the personal development and social participation of young people.

Various measures in youth work, youth social work, and educational child and youth protection are funded. This includes out-of-school youth education, international youth work, youth education centers, and innovative projects. Eligible content ranges from political and social education to prevention work.

Funding is provided in the form of non-repayable grants as project funding, with the amount of the grant depending on the type and scope of the measure. Both fixed-amount and percentage-based financing are available.

Applicants must operate statewide in Saxony-Anhalt, enable the self-determination of young people, and ensure the proper implementation of the measures. A clear criminal record certificate is required for the personnel employed. The program also adheres to equality and diversity principles.

The application process is carried out in writing using the forms provided by the State Administrative Office of Saxony-Anhalt. Applications must be submitted by October 1st of the preceding year. Approval is granted at the discretion of the authority within the framework of available budget funds.

The funding is based on the guidelines of the State of Saxony-Anhalt and relevant laws such as the Social Code (SGB VIII) and the State Budget Code. These ensure the legal basis and framework for youth work and youth protection.
