Individual Support for Students at General and Vocational Schools (FRL IndiFö)

The Funding Guideline for Individual Support for Students (FRL IndiFö) is aimed at private and public legal entities as well as legal partnerships. The program aims to support career orientation and accompanied learning for students at general and vocational schools in the Free State of Saxony.

FRL IndiFö specifically supports measures for career orientation and individual accompaniment of students. This includes the deployment of practical advisors, the implementation of potential analyses, and workshop days. Support by inclusion assistants is also eligible for funding.

FRL IndiFö offers financial support in the form of non-repayable grants. The amount of funding varies depending on the funding object: practical advisors and inclusion assistants receive co-financing, while potential analyses and workshop days are subsidized as fixed-sum financing. Projects are typically funded over two school years.

To receive funding under FRL IndiFö, applicants must meet specific conditions, particularly regarding the qualification of personnel and cooperation with schools and other partners. Important aspects concern cooperation agreements and ensuring activities also during holiday periods.

The application procedure for FRL IndiFö is handled by Sächsische Aufbaubank (SAB) and is clearly structured. Applicants submit complete applications for a period of two school years. The disbursement of grants occurs quarterly or after the implementation of measures, depending on the funding object, followed by a transparent verification process.
