Funding for Non-Investment Social Measures by Counseling Centers for People with (Impending) Disabilities

This program was aimed at non-profit organizations operating supra-regional counseling centers in Thuringia, supporting people with (impending) disabilities and their families. It aimed to ensure comprehensive counseling and social participation for those affected.

The program subsidized necessary material and personnel expenses of supra-regional counseling centers supporting people with (impending) disabilities. The funding covered a wide range of expenses essential for the operation and provision of counseling services.

The funding was provided as a non-repayable grant for partial financing. Up to 80 percent of the eligible material and personnel expenses could be subsidized.

Several conditions had to be met for the funding, including the supra-regional orientation of the counseling center, proof of further financing for co-funding, and adherence to specific legal and administrative requirements, especially regarding documentation.

The application for funding had to be submitted annually in writing to the Thuringian State Administration Office by October 31 of the year preceding the start of funding. A conceptual outline, a financial plan, and details on personnel were required.

The funding was based on a specific guideline from the Free State of Thuringia and further budgetary regulations. These regulations defined the funding purpose, the prerequisites, and the procedure for granting the subsidies.
